interface IReadSource

Minimal adapter over a source of bytes (e.g. a Stream or a BinaryReader) for generic reading helpers. Implement on a struct so that the helpers can be JIT-specialized per source.

int Read(byte[] buffer, int offset, int count)

Read up to count bytes into buffer at offset, returning the number of bytes read, or zero at end of data. Same contract as Read.
